Bright Ideas:  Candles for Your Fireplace Candelabra

Here are some candle tips to help you make the most of your Fireplace Candelabra:

  • Don’t get in a rut and use the same style of candle every time. Try pillars, spherical candles, and tapers.  Votive candles and tea lights will work, too, with those fireplace candelabra that don’t have candle pins in the candle cups.
  • Mix the heights of your candles, especially the pillars. You get more of a “decorator” look that way.
  • Try mixing colors, too.  Use some candles that are the neutral color in the room and others that are one of your accent colors.
  • Get adventuresome with scented candles.  Try different scents to set a mood or match the season.
  • Let the candles in your Fireplace Candelabra set a holiday mood:  Red, white, and blue for July 4th; the hues of autumn leaves for Thanksgiving; or pastels for Easter.
  • And don’t, for goodness sakes, save those candles only for company!  Treat yourself and your family to their enchanting glow. After all, you’re worth it!
